Daily Tarot Reflection – 21 Jan 2018 – Princess of Wands Reversed

As far as I can remember, I’ve never been accused of, you know, just not being creative enough or lacking imagination. Creativity shows itself in many ways, and one of those ways is cleverness. Cleverness is an important imaginative exercise that can be very fun at the right time and place with the right people. And yet, there can be a fine line between being clever and being too “gameful,” being a bit too tricky, even being a bit manipulative or secretive—like one of those television detectives. Every energy has a time and place. But you are not a television detective and today is not the day to be clever. Watch yourself today. Don’t let that sparkle in your eyes get too shiny. Be honest, open, direct, straightforward. Keep your magic tricks in your bag. Today, be very intentional. What are you trying to achieve? This is not the day to try to interrogate people or prove people wrong for the sake of proving them wrong because you don’t like their energy or their attitude. Stay away from people if they don’t resonate. If the commitments you’ve made to the work or people you love requires you to be near or engage with people with whom you don’t vibe, don’t try to play them – even if you feel they’re trying to play you. Be straightforward with people. Don’t be afraid to be honest. Don’t be afraid to call a spade a spade. Work with what you know. Use tangible evidence and ask the right questions. Ask for help when you need it—especially help from that which is greater than you. Your cleverness is creative and productive, but it won’t deter tricky behavior. This isn’t a day to be emergent. This is a day to be definitive and straightforward. Work only with the facts—and make sure you define the difference between fact and fiction. Ache 🙏🏼
