Daily Tarot Reflection – 3 Feb 2018 – 3 Card Spread

Balance in all things. Moderation in all things. Too much of anything won’t serve you in the long run. And yet, when one has been in one circumstance or done one thing to an extreme or for a very long time, exercising the opposite extreme for a period of time can be necessary. Today is probably a good day to sit with yourself quietly. Don’t try to go go go and get a hundred things accomplished—at least not in the outside world. Today, measure your inner successes—those immense shifts that only you can truly notice. You will be called to outer accomplishments soon enough. And they will be great. But today, don’t try to distract yourself with things that are unnecessary. And almost every possible distraction is unnecessary today. This last week has been full of intense energy. Do you feel it? Some people will feel it more than others—this has nothing to do with one’s level of “spiritual awareness” and mostly to do with where these energies show up in your chart. So don’t feel inadequate if you haven’t felt it so much. Don’t pretend you’ve experienced things that you haven’t. Maybe you’ve felt a lot but haven’t had or made the time to sit and allow yourself to integrate the lessons. Maybe you’ve felt the lessons but haven’t taken enough time to be able to articulate them. Make sure to take time for this today. Write, journal, make art, allow yourself to be insular. Life, most definitely, is going to shift over the next few weeks and during this year in dramatic ways. Your innate powers are increasing. Don’t move through the world throwing them around. Take time to get to know what you’re wielding. Temperance is the practice of alchemy, of blending, of experimenting with proportions until you get just the right balance. Today, keep working to find your balance. Ache 🙏🏼
