Daily Tarot Reflection – 4 Feb 2018 – The Empress Reversed

The Empress is maternal and nurturing. She’s the traditional feminine principle embodied—grace, fertility, abundance. And yet—maybe that’s not the feminine principle you need to embody or encounter today. Feminine energy comes in so many forms. You don’t have to embody the traditional principle (of anything) to be authentic. In order to be authentic, you do have to embody yourself and your energy. Reveal your energies. Be the truth of yourself, no matter what. Accept the authentic truth of others, no matter what. You don’t have to like it. You don’t have to agree. But as long as you can tell someone is being authentic, allow them to be. Allow them to speak. Allow them to live their truth. Most of all, allow yourself to live your truth. The world is complex. The more complex you allow it to be, the better. The more complex you allow yourself to be, the better. When you allow yourself to be the fullness of your own complexity, you’re more likely to accept the fullness of the complexity outside of you. When you see the diverse capacity of your own energy, you can accept the diverse capacity of the energies and people other than you so much more easily. This doesn’t mean that you understand other people’s experiences, because you can’t. It does mean that you’re more accepting of different ways of being. The Empress upright tends to be more receptive. Reversed, perhaps she’s got a little more to say, maybe she’s got more to project out into the world. After all, when she’s reversed, the moon is under her … or you might say, she’s on her moon. 🙂 A woman who is balanced while on her moon has a heightened intuitive capacity. So you might benefit from listening rather than judging (even, especially, if that woman is you). Ache 🙏🏼
