What I know, is you reap what you sow. You till the earth. You plant the seeds. You ensure they’re fed and watered. You give them access to light and space freed from your endless weeding, which reconstitutes the soil. You put in so much time. There’s no guarantee that they’ll germinate. There’s no guarantee that they’ll grow. There’s no guarantee that they’ll grow to maturity. You put in the time. And then you hope and pray and wait. I don’t know any grower who doesn’t pray in some kind of way. Will your investment matter? Will they make it? These processes over which we have no control must occur in order for us to eat, to survive. So when you plant your seeds, plant them with the intention that they will germinate and grow to maturity. This expectation will cause you to offer them all of the care they need—including your confidence that they will take root and grow. You must nourish them if you want them to nourish you. Everything you initiate will grow into something. It might not grow into exactly what you expected—seeds are (only a little) bit more predictable than human endeavors, goals, children, and creative projects. Maybe you’ve been working toward something for awhile and it seems like you haven’t seen the rewards. If there’s any sort of care you haven’t given to what you sowed, tie up the loose ends. But then, draw from your hope, say some prayers, and wait. You WILL see the rewards of your work in short order. Everything you’ve put out into the Universe is coming back to you. Have faith. There’s nothing more beautiful than sitting back and watching the beauty of your own work and/or creation bloom and unfold before you. Ache 🙏🏼
