Daily Tarot Reflection – 10 Feb 2018 – The Magician Reversed

The Magician is endless creativity, endless manifestation, infinite transformative capacity. The Magician can make anything appear, create something out of nothing, turn something into something else that’s completely different. Maybe it’s been a busy week. Maybe you’ve had a lot going on. Maybe it’s been a stressful week, or difficult in some kind of way. Maybe you’re feeling blocked from your own creative energy. Maybe the thought of doing and pushing makes you feel exhausted. In order to be a creator and manifestor, one needs to find the energy necessary to bring things into being. It takes a massive amount of energy to transform one form of matter into another. Perhaps there is physical matter that needs to be transformed. Perhaps the matter that most needs to be transformed right now are the matters on your mind. Perhaps your thoughts and ways of thinking need to be transformed. Typically, the Magician represents outer work. But given that the card is reversed, I have the sense that today many of us need to go within, to rest, to meditate. What is the source of the energy you need to create? What is your motivation for transformation? If you want to experience something different, you must do something different. If you want to do something different, you must think something different. When you need a shift, The Magician can bring it to you. Sometimes, the magic is less about creating something where there was nothing and more about the ability to see something that’s already there. Today is a day to create a shift in your mind. Today, go inward to find your source of inspiration so that you can see what’s been invisible to you for too long. Ache 🙏🏼
