Daily Tarot Reflection – 23 Feb 2018 – The Mother of Swords Reversed

(Card from The Wild Unknown Tarot Deck)

Balance in all things. It’s easy to emphasize one energy over another. You can be strong without being “tough”. You can you be intellectual without being critical. You can be gentle without losing structure. You can be graceful without losing structural integrity. Where do you need to pull in the reigns? Where and how do you need to soften? Where is there too much tension in your spirit? Where are you trying hard? Where do you need to implement greater discipline? Let no part of your life cause you to overcompensate for any other part. Do not allow one part of your life to become atrophied. Every part of yourself and your live is needed to fulfill your destiny. This is a time for integrating the mind and the heart. You need both and the world needs you to use both. Use your brilliant intellect with great love. Use your immense heart with discernment and clarity. We are in Pisces Season – a season of boundlessness, of swimming in an immense ocean. And yet, the ocean is defined by a basin, by the force of gravity, and by an atmosphere. Even the ocean has boundaries. And so must you. Have the courage to name the size and depth of your basin. Have the courage to define what is healthy and toxic in its suspension as well as which species contribute to its overall function and which are invasive. Have the courage to define the chemical composition of your own atmosphere. Have the courage to create the mathematical equation for the forces of gravity that will define what your center pulls toward you. You can be the creator of your own universe. If you don’t do it, somebody else will. The choice is yours. Ache 🙏🏼
